I did try to diversify my shoes patina going for dark grey/grey lord ,dark plum,havana or deep wine colours....
It may look strange but they're stunnig because they're offering more depth than the usual burgundy/brown patinas....
You have to try what you do feel comfortable with and your taste is going to evolve anyway....
