Shoe Advice for Green Glenplaid Suit

I ordered a rather bold suit and now I'm looking for the proper footwear. The suit is for my outdoor wedding in September, which has a fairly relaxed vibe and I ran this bold suit by the fiancee who quite likes it. The suit is from Knot Standard.

First are 2 pictures of the suit, and then the shoe I'd like, but apparently can't have.

I really like the Oak St Bootmakers Snuff Suede Wingtip, but they've been discontinued. Of particular note are the sole, which isn't as tall as some I've seen, the toe which isn't overly boxy and the stitching which blends nicely with the color of the shoe.

Do you agree that brown suede would be the choice with this suit? Alden has some nice looking options, but they're in the $600 range. I don't know how much utility I'll get out of these shoes, so that seemed a bit much for me. I would very much like to hear your advice on this! Also in need of a belt, so advice there is welcome too.

Any dark brown Oxford would work. I'd recommend just a simple cap toe Oxford, in dark brown. A very useful and versatile shoe. And a lot smarter than the suede wingtip you were looking at, honestly.

I very much appreciate the advice. By "smarter" do you mean that you feel they look better, or that they'd be a better addition to my wardrobe? I do have a pair of shoes that I feel will fit the bill - Bruno Magli Sassiolo. I'm entirely open to wearing these, but was thinking the wedding would be a great excuse to pick up a new pair.

Those aren't great, but they would be better for a wedding. Wingtips are inherently more casual than a plain Oxford. I guess it depends on the nature of your ceremony.

Admire the style, but at over a grand, you and I my friend, have very different budgets.
You asked me for my ideal style. That's what I gave you. There are plenty of budget shoes that are very similar in style to the Edward Green Chelsea. Meermin, Carmina, Lof & Tung, and a bunch of others carry similar models for under $500.
