Thanks. May I ask the pricing for the suit (in RMB)? Imported or domestic fabric? Full or half canvas?

I paid $373 for my navy herringbone coat (to match a previous pair of trousers I had where the coat was damaged beyond repair), $643 for my blue birdseye suit and $392 for my recent blue cotton sport coat--US dollars. All were made with Huddersfield fabric, all were fully canvassed and featured horn buttons.

Thanks. One more question - seems C&G is located quite far from the central areas of Shanghai and away from any metro lines. Did you have to go to their location on Zhoukang Road for each fitting or do they do hotel visits?

I ordered online, as did Stebbin I believe. MTM for us. In person they would no doubt conduct the usual amount of fittings I would think. Feel free to ask Amy Yang for anything more specific. She's very helpful, a delight to deal with.

How did this one turn out, Stebbin?

I got it a few months ago. Fabric is a dark charcoal fresco from Huddersfield and Amy was very attentive in making the recommended changes from my last suit, like a slightly smaller chest measurements, altered sleeve pitch and a slightly reduced shoulder. Full canvassed with horn buttons and bemberg lining. Total price was around $369 USD as I provided my own fabric and this was a CMT order.

Superb, mate. Great result! Just goes to show the quality result Amy and her team at Shanghai C&G is capable of. They're the only tailor I use now.
