Is anyone a TF Jasmine Rouge fan? I love the smell of it, not sure how unisex it is, but it smells fantastic :)

It's definitely a jasmine-centered scent, and so I think it's inevitably going to read as feminine to most people. That said, I wear it and enjoy it. No one's ever called me to task for wearing it.

For my evening fragrance, I decided I'd be all manly like some of the superstars of SOTD. I am wearing Kouros.

Big fan of Jasmine Rouge, but it's for my wife because she's the jasmine soliflore fan. In the past Diptyque's Olene was the benchmark jasmine - the old vintage was a holographic jasmine - but the new one is just not the same and so luckily Jasmine Rouge came along to give you that very heady aroma that you get when surrounded by the actual flowers.

I spent the better part of last week on airplanes, and so now of course have a head cold which I undoubtedly caught from the azs sitting behind me Wednesday who hacked and sneezed up the back of my shirt for 2.5 hours.

Anyways, a Heeley or a Hermessence (both lines I like) was not going to be detectable by me today. Needed something to cut through the fog.

Voila, Slumberhouse Vikt extrait. Good stuff really. My fav from this line, so far.

I haven't tried either of the jasmines you mentioned. Work for guys or strictly fem?

Edit: working backwards through the recent thread, just saw L'inc's comment re my Q above. Ok, maybe worth a try from a small sample

I finally saw some grass for the first time in a week+ so I opted for something a little verdant: Le Labo Rose 31. Out of season but... whatever.

I'm glad you enjoy some of Amouage's fragrances. :)

I will ultimately purchase Fate Man, Fate Woman, and Dia Man, and Epic Man. I find Epic to be a fascinating scent even though I'm not a big fan of red peppercorns.

Haven't tried Fate Man/Woman yet, IIRC.

For Fate Man, Christopher Chong took two very hard to like components - immortelle and cumin - and magically made a beautiful and unique fragrance with them. There's nothing like it that I have ever smelled.

Really really stupid question but I have to ask... Has anybody purchased any Creed scents from Amazon? I only ask because somebody gave me a very nice amount on a gift card and I can't think of anything else I need outside of cologne replenishment. Should I be wary of fakes? Any sellers/stores you guys recommend?
