Guys I need your help

I’ve been wanting a SLP Teddy Jacket and finally bought one in Printemps Paris. I wonder if I got the latest version.

my teddy jacket has no pocket. It has no stitch so I can not cut it nor open it. I came to Copenhagen store to confirm, and yes the SA said it has no pockets. I confirm back to SLP Indonesia boutique (my country) and apparently they have the jacket with pocket. The tag I saw is year production 2021. 2022 1 (means spring/summer 22). While my jacket’s tag is also production 2021/2022 1 (means also the spring/summer 22).

my question is, why is it different? Is my jacket the latest or the former collection?

Hey everyone, looking for help LCing this shirt. I got it from what appears to be a reputable seller on Grailed, but then as soon as i got it the shirt was re-listed. I am not finding evidence of this being a part of a 2014 collection (seller claims AW14) as it appears on the tag and it's listing, but have found it a couple times on sketchy websites elsewhere.

Do you mean the front pockets? Are you sure they're not just sewn closed? I would be shocked if YSL switched from functioning pockets to decorative pockets back to functional pockets. 2022 1 would also be this season.

yes! There’s no stitch and the SA told me that it can’t be opened. Can someone else confirm this? Is there season with decorative pockets before?

Hello all.

Can anyone give me some advice about how the suede trucker jacket fits? I've asked for measurements on Grailed but they aren't always reliable. I wear a size 46 in the teddy jacket and size small and 38 in SLP tops. Does anyone know if these jackets run small, big or TTS?

Your help is appreciated!

I have the lamb trucker and it’s such an awesome fit! It’s a real compliment magnet. That suede looks super nice.

They fit TTS and a little slim. Go with your regular size 46 and you’ll be good. I have a 44 like all my other items and it fits great. I tried to size down one to 42 but it started looking stretched.

How do you think this fits? Do I need to size down? This is a 52...

Little confused on the sizing because I normally wear a 36 or 38 blazer in other brands. Couldn't fit my arms into a 46 in store.

I would not size down - that’s a great fit on you but I actually would be interested to see a size larger. The arms look quite fitted.

Thanks! I will stick with this size…probably wouldn’t be able to go one size down and still button up the coat. I figure I will likely layer with it as well.

Bling - great fit! Love it.

Gorgeous jacket Viral - great color and just enough sheen to be interesting but not too much to be gaudy. I like that there are not logos splashed all over it.

Silenttown - funny, I probably saw that same off-white trucker jacket while at the Chicago boutique. I ended up picking up a shirt instead, as I have a few denim jackets and with a couple young kids I was doubting my ability to keep the white one clean! That said, SLP denim jackets are my favorite fits. I have tried a couple others from Dior and Celine but didn't quite do it for me.

Small world! I've been careful with it because I also worry about it getting stained. Now it's basically too hot to wear jackets so it probably won't get much wear until the fall.

I had a faded black Levis trucker, but sold it a week or two before getting my SLP jacket. The color never grew on me and it was a bit too slim in the shoulders. I wasn't even sure I liked denim jackets all that much because that one was meh, but I tried the SLP and was sold.

I also tried the black lamb trucker. I think I might get it at some point. That or the brown suede shearling trucker. Not sure which I'd do first. I loved both.

Thanks man - pics don’t do it justice tbh. It’s a nice subtle piece which I will enjoy wearing - except that it’s not the warmest coat but I have a CG for more extreme temps.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
