Smashed my aviators and looking to get them repaired (UK). SLP in Bond Street told me to contact Kering regarding where to send them but haven't heard back. Can anyone recommend a reputable eyewear specialist?

Ugh that's the worst. What part is smashed, the lens or the frame? Also, what model aviator is it? It may be cheaper to buy a new one on sale.

Few questions:

1. How do I size in the l01 or l17? I am 5'6 ish, 147 pounds, muscular build. I am a small in most outerwear (so a 46), but a lot of smalls in brands such as Sandro and The Kooples are right on me.

2. Best current alternatives to the l01 and the l17?

3. Is there anyway to detach shoulder straps on leather jackets or would I just cut them off I guess if I want them gone

It's the lenses unfortunately. Do you really think it'd be more expensive to re-lens them than to buy a new pair?

You can probably re-lens them at any optician for far less than what a new pair would cost, unless they have to be Kering™ lenses.

Depending on the specific model, and your location I do. You are trying to go through Keering, so I suspect any replacement lenses would be based off their MSRP pricing which could be high. All of the SLP sunglasses I have purchased (including the Classic SL 11) have been under $150.

It is worth trying to contact them to see if they sell the lenses separately, but if you identify the specific style code, I can look out for sales for you.

I've been on the hunt for these ever since i saw them last year. I finally found a pair! Love the color on these, and the Jodhpurs are my favorite wyatt style.

Now I just have to track down a Waytt 40 calf hair pair and I will have all the SLP boots on my list.

Im biased, since I don’t like the harness, but I’d get the jodhpurs since they can be dressed up very easily

1. I would say 46, but you may also want to try 48.
3. No, the epaulets are not detachable.

heads up, I'm an inch taller than you, and even a size 42 leather from SLP is too long for my liking, so if you're going for a cropped look, you're probably gonna have to find a different brand.

Also, the l01/17 aren't really that "special" per se, basically any leather can be used as an alternative if it fits correctly.
