Hi Mr. Kelly any timeline on the t-shirts being released this year? as well as colors?

Yessir — we hope to have them online within a few weeks. We have them this year in malt (same shade as the polo shirt in recent years) plus the darks green, grey, and navy.

The polo shirt will return around the same time, too.

I'm interested in your topcoat in Donegal tweed but I'm concerned about shoulder width. I'd wear it on top of 40R sport jackets, which typically have 19' shoulder width. Even your L has 18' shoulders. I'm 5'8 and somewhat stocky in build (years grappling will do that to your body). What do you think?

I think the extra inch will be sorely missed, sorry to say.

The topcoat is quite keenly cut, so while I still consider it "standard" and is intended to sit on the natural lines of the wearer, if you are on the stockier side, it will be too snug.

At least within our range, you might have better luck with the styles with raglan or raglan-like sleeves, such as the Chesterfield. We have a few other semi-formal coats upcoming later in the year, too, such as a British Warm / officers coat, and the return of the tielocken.

Splendid. What would you say is the closest green or navy of available or past products?

A productive week here in east and north-east London.

The anorak is nearly ready ...

And we've made good, conclusive progress on the British Warm and revised tielocken — ahead of ourselves somewhat, as neither will be made until after the summer, but still, good to put them both to bed after a couple of years slow-burn development.

We also hit upon an excellent cloth for the former — a heavy hopsack woollen made with the wool of British sheep — which is so very up my street, and perfect for the very idea of a British Warm, that I'm still radiating post-eureka smugness five days after the event.

From top to bottom, it is (1) a curtain / layer functioning as additional rain-proof layer and pocket flap, (2) a pocket with bellows panel along base edge, then (3) lower part of body.

It all feeds into the seams at the sides, which double as the armholes.

Such a great design of the anorak, especially the color. If you would release the fishing jacket in the same color - an instant buy for me.
