for long distance running I love the Ultra Kalani from Zoot. They are extremely light. It's best suited for runners with good pronation though

nike lunar eclipse2 \ saucony triumph for long distances
saucony progrid 3 or 4 (don't recall) for short distances.

I'd love to try New Balance as they're produced in UK or USA and not by some chinese baby as all the other brands but I can't seem to find them anywhere in Italy!

Nike Free Run 3.0, v4

Would you say these run true to size? I had an older pair of frees that ran at least 1/2 size small. With lots of great colors available online at good prices, I'd like to order but am worried given my past experience.

I wear 10.5 in just about everything, 9.5 in Chucks and 10 in Clark's DBs. I always size up 1/2 on running shoes so I wear an 11 in these. They have this weird attached sock-like liner thingie instead of a traditional tongue so they're kinda funny to squeeze your foot into but once they're on it's fine. I'd recommend sizing up 1/2 size.

Nike Lunaglide 3, looks like I'm not the only one ha ha. I run 6 days a week and find they are light and easy to run in but also have the structure and support I need.
