Doesnt Left Field also use Cone STF denim or is that different ?

Ooh it does. Nice yeah left field is also a brand which I've been quite interested in after handling a pair at AB Fits in SF. Great prices as well.

I'm thinking about buying a pair of these.

Are these the thickest pair of jeans you can buy??

I have 2 raleighs and they seem pretty thick, is this even thicker??

I care mainly because I ride a motorcycle.

i don't think these are the thickest you can buy. they're 14oz denim which i believe is a standard weight denim. maybe iron heart?

Yeah ironheart is more into motorcycling so it might be a better fit for your needs. There is of course thicker denim than even what ironheart offers (I think they top out at 23oz) and there are offerings of 28oz and 32oz from others but at some point it becomes impractical, perhaps not wearable and the extra heavy weight actually leads to less durability since the fabric is so heavy and rigid.

Taken with flash, contrast is a little better in person, but as you can see, Cone fades ridiculously well. You have to beat it up though.

21 Months, about 14-15 months of solid wear (5x a week or so) and then the other 6 months probably 2x a week. 2 washes, one on purpose, and one because I spilled a bowl of soup on them

Thanks Listi, that's exactly what I was looking for. Those look amazing, I can see why you would love them!

even leather can be ****, fashion leather is usually fairly soft and not that great when against the road. make sure you get motorcycle leathers...road rash is not fun
