Anybody bought or seen the new bronze officer trousers in person? I'm in the market for a selvedge khaki pant, and am deciding between these and the 3sixteen ST-44x. The pro for RgT for me is that I already know the Officer Trouser is a perfect fit for me, but I'm also leaning toward the slightly heavier weight of the 3sixteens. Any particular thoughts on either of those? I realize the 3sixteen has "denim-style pockets", for lack of a better term, as compared to the chino-style of the RgT, but that's not a big factor for me...

Which way did you go, RgT or 3sixteen? On the fence with these two. Could you provide the thigh / front rise / back rise measurements for your size?

Debating the Stantons in the desert wash (thanks @tdude for the pic) - have the Stantons in stealth and SKs in indigo. I've noticed that the Stantons have remained stiff, even after a year's worth of wear. The SKs, in contrast, have broken in nicely. Might that be explained by the different dyes?

If I pick the Stantons up in the desert wash, I'm hoping for something that doesn't require as much work to break-in.

I currently have the Stantons in a 29, debating sizing up to a 30 for a slightly looser fit - that extra 1/2 inch in the waist and thigh is closer to what I want for summer denim. Given the measurements and my experience with the stealth Stantons, wondering if sizing up will work out OK for me - any suggestions?

Basically, just trying to get a sense of whether I can expect a difference given the desert wash? Or, will the desert wash be similar to the stealth?

Welcome. I don't have the stealth, but the desert wash is not stiff at all. Already broken in. I did the same thing. Sized up one for more of a slouchy fit and I really like it. They are my beater jeans now.

In my experience, it is best to email RgT directly at [email protected]. They offer really great sizing advice. Usually get a response the same or next day.

I bought the Rgt bronze trousers. They really are a lovely pair, the fit is near perfect, quality is really good as well with just the right colour for summer. Buy them, you won't regret it.

I'm a pretty reliably XL in most brands -say GBV or Jcrew - thick would be a good adjective, shoulder and chest measurements are steering me for XXL raw chambray work shirt but alas none to be found. will these be restocked or should I try my hand at the one XL i found available?

unfortunately you might not get to enjoy the shirts this brand has to offer. before buying RgT clothing I wore lots of J Crew and I was a size Large in their slim shirts. Coming over here to RgT I have to buy XL shirts and jackets, and even then certain styles are still too small for me with the XL. And I dont see too many offerings in XXL. But I am going to guess that you need XXL in RgT and 3sixteen if that brand interests you as well. If you do come across any XXL in RgT buy without hesitation. You will not be disappointed with the quality.

I've been on the hunt for a chambray. 3sixteen is typically my go-to but I have a weird need for button down collars and that raw work shirt just has all the right details. hopefully they will restock the 2x. thanks,
Mike

Question for the RT enthusiasts. So I received a pair of 14.5oz black warp tonal Stantons today. The legs are a really good fit, but the waist... It hurts my fingers to even button the second-from-the-top one. No chance of buttoning the top one. Can I honestly expect these to stretch out in time to be able to do so? I don't wanna put too much wear on them so I can return if need be. And I'm hesitant to size up because I love the fit of the legs on them.

What would you do?

Size up, I've made the mistake of not doing so and it's rough. You'll enjoy wearing them more if you size up and have the extra space vs. fighting them forever.

I don't think it'll do much for the second-from-the-top button, but there's always this option: http://www.amazon.com/CaneMart-INCH-MASTER®-Waistband-Stretcher/dp/B000POJL9M

Seriously, though, you'll most likely be happier sizing up. I generally find that if I have a pair of jeans that's uncomfortable to wear, I end up just not wearing those jeans.
