Love the slippers but I still cannot buy into wearing them out of the house. I have two pairs of slippers (one linen and one velvet) and I put them on as soon as I get home and off whenever I leave the house or go to sleep. Perhaps I'm too conservative in that thinking.

I never left the W Hotel with them on, does that make it any better?

I always think I will wear them around town or into San Francisco but I never do. I only wear them for house parties and at home.




Sir F, I started this thread so if you go back you will see various photos of my socks, shoes, pants although not many lately. Today I'm wearing solid navy socks with jeans. So, no need for a pic. But, of course they are the perfect shade of navy.

Some potential bad weather, so I went with my very old Ferragamo suedes. I often think of getting rid of these shoes but I have to say the fit is so fantastic that I just keep them. I only pull them out about a half dozen times each year, but they always feel great and the commando sole is brilliant.

They got a couple of applications of Sapphir Dark Brown shoe creme last night. I want them a little darker, but not much.
