i have a trip coming up in april to china and round the world in june thinking about taking the RM as one of my shoes to wear with sneakers as well.
would you recommend i take the comfort craftsman or pick up a RM all rounder in the greasy kip leather?
Comfort craftsman is essentially three or four boots in one

Dress boot, casual, comfort and stylish.

The greasy kip is no doubt a great boot but no where near as good an all rounder and if space is a premium I’d take the comfort all day long.

Are they not almost identical? I can't imagine the all rounder to be significantly more comfortable than a comfort craftsman. Easy answer is: wear the CC during your April trip, then see if you need a different shoe for the next trip.
It’s got a different leather seems more hard wearing.

Hey, could I ask for your input? I just got these Sydney boots in the mail, and the soles at the toes are finished kinda wonky. The asymmetry is bugging me. Am I being unreasonable? Is something like this worth returning for in your opinions? I suppose I could get a local shoe repair place to even 'em out...

I’d just wear them and when soles go get it to your spec then. Depends on your ocd levels, my mate won’t wear a watch with a date wheel as it’s not symmetrical!

I looked into it as originally she got a 7 which then turned out to be a 4.5 which was tiny!! They then have been out of stock until now of uk seven!!

Just happened to check on Sunday and bugger me their was seven in chestnut and black. Originally I was going to get both but wanted to make sure they fit! She’s chuffed to bits, they’re like a feminine craftsman.
