Returning merchandise to Carmina - held by custom

Hi Members,

Recently I have purchased a pair of shoe from Carmina, and due fit issue I have returned the merchandise to Carmina. Carmina approved my return and provided me with the shipping details.

But now the parcel is currently being held by the Spanish custom. A check with Correoes (the Spanish national postal service in charge of handling this shipment) has requested for some documents from Carmina. Apparently it is an importer document which begins with an "E" according to Carmina.

But Carmina is now asking me to provide such document when clearly it is their responsibility to do so as an "importer".

May ask the forum members here if any of you have returned goods to Carmina from outside of Spain and faced similar issue before? I just do not want the goods to be returned to me and further incurred unnecessary charges.

Thank you!

Hi, I just wanted to ask how you managed to resolve this issue? I'm going through sth similar. I also returned Carmina shoes due to fit issues and they have been stuck in customs for over a week. They are with correos. I'm not sure what to do and don't really know how to get in touch with Correos to find out the reason for the delay. If you have any advice it would be much appreciated!
