Does the suede feel a bit hard, or 'crunchy', now?

I haven't noticed any texture changes. It doesn't seem to 'harden' like real paint.

If you ask for a title, you never get it, right? (How did you get yours?) I like it, though I think there are other candidates (Parker, Slewfoot).

Do you think it is recommended to use the RÃ

novateur, color noir, (black) on it ?

Or should I definitely give it to a cobbler to do the job.

Note that I am in the No Purchase Club for March and can't pay for repairs so I want to do it myself.

Are there any recommendations on what to do and how to proceed?

Hm. I doubt if that will work, since after some time the original colour seems to come back. Would be a nice experiment though...

Edit: if someone decides to do it, I'd first clean them (brush, shampoo and let dry), then brush them against the nap and apply the spray, then let them dry, brush them "with the" nap and apply again. And take pics of the whole process, of course.

Now all I gotta do is find some in the U.S.

Thanks. It isn't miracle spray, but generally I think you can touch up suede pretty well. I'd clean (brush all the dirt and dust of) and shampoo them first and then decide if you need colour spray (when they're completely dry after the shampooing). You could try 'normal' Saphir Super Invulner (or something similar) first; that seems to get some colour back as well.

Oh, that's great.

That has always been my fear with this sort of thing - I love the softness of good suede, so I would prefer worn-looking/faded to crunchy!

And you may have to fight Parker for the Photoshop King award, not the suede award...
