If I recall the story was when the manufacturer sent the finished leathers Robert wasn't super into how they looked so he sent his assistant and intern to a local laundromat to wash a whole seasons leathers.

A recent visit to SF brought me to cable car clothiers and on a whim tried on one of their drake shirts and liked the fit much more than expected. Since I was looking to diversify from exclusively white and pale blue I took the plunge. Rather happy so far, but won’t be when I need to either iron it or bring it to the cleaners!
