well it looks kinda brownish around my groin area, the left side... and it also has like a scar so the doctor said it was a stretch mark.

I never knew what a stretch mark was so that's why i posted that title in my thread.

Was the doctor a dermatologist? I would question his diagnosis and go get a second opinion, especially from a dermatologist.

no he wasn't a dermatologist. He was a general doctor.. not sure if that is the right word. I asked if i had that thing i named earlier and he said no b/c he explained how that was.

I do not know how i can go to a dermatologist b/c i go to a dermatologist for my face area. There are actually dermatologists that look at your groin areas? Because i would feel weird setting up an appointment and then telling the dermatologist this and since the dermatologist is usually a woman everytime i went to one.

Thanks.

Post a pic of your inner leg & we'll tell you what it is. I'm thinking it may just be skin that has darkened/toughened due to friction.

Anyone can recommend me what product to use for stretch marks? The doctor said i shouldn't worry about it but I want to get rid of it. Thanks.

Copper peptides from www.skinbiology.com or laser treatment to get rid of stretch marks.
If they marks are new, supposedly you can get rid of them by religious applications of OTC Mederma.

Dermatologists do skin. All skin. Everywhere. Dermatologists are doctors. They are professionals, and they've seen funnier/more embarassing/more sensitive issues than you have. Female or otherwise. Just go.

Save your money, nothing works for old stretch marks. Cocoa butter only helps prevent them.

+1, no offense to your problem, etc. etc., but please don't post a pic here... if you must post it somewhere, do it on a forum that has skin doctors on it.

Why so clean? GQgeek doesn't like a little doo-doo dressing when he's tossing your salad?

I bet Pathmark has a product that will help. I hear rubbing olive oil on stretch marks will help them fade.
