My ranking would be this:

1. Burberry
2. Lacoste
3. Ralph Lauren
4. Brooks Brother
5. Boss
6. Fred Perry
7. Nautica
8. Penguin
9. Canterbury
10. Abercrombie and Fitch
11. Tommy Hilfiger

I¨m surprised that you rank Burberry as #1. They may have made quality clothes in the past, but the few Burberry items I've bought the last few years have been of subpar quality.
I don't mean just slightly bad, I'm talking about horrible quality here.

I have a few old Burberry polos that seem indestructable. Most of my polos are Lacoste and RL Polo. I prefer the colours of Lacoste but the fabrics of RL.

some RL polos i have bought fit different. i bought a navy polo at a RL store and another from their online store. both the same size but one fit larger than the other. the material felt different too.
i dont know if this is because they were made in different countries or not.

i will never buy Nautica polos again as they have all shrunk and lost shape.

Tommy polos fit larger on me and i like the material they use as its softer. But i am in between sizes in Tommy so cant get a good fit.

i recently got some Kent Wang polos so will see how well they hold up.

You have left my new favorite off the list. Popped Colours. They are only sold online so I understand how they might be overlooked but it is the best polo I've ever owned. Heard about them from a friend when I was on holiday.

So I'm including them...
  1. Popped Colours
  2. Lacoste
  3. Fred Perry
  4. Brooks Brother
  5. Ralph Lauren
  6. Abercrombie and Fitch
  7. Tommy Hilfiger
  8. Boss
  9. Nautica
  10. Penguin
  11. Canterbury
  12. Burberry

What I like about the Lacoste polos is that even after a couple of years, the color's till good and wearable.

^ Checked out the Poppled Colours, am I seeing things wrong, or do they just have navy and white shirts available?

I don't know what the emblem/logo is; I can't really tell.

That's actually Anderson Cooper wearing the shirt. I thought it might just be a designer label or brand I'm not familiar with.

But thanks for looking at it.

I was at a Lacoste store and RL store and the Lacoste polos felt like they were made with more quality material and worth the price over the RL. I might get one

Does anyone know if the Lacoste polos get stretched? I don't want to buy a hundred dollar polo just for it to stretch out and become 2 sizes larger
I have 3 polos from Lacoste and one of them stretched the first time it was washed, it didn't stretch too much, but I can feel the difference when I wear it; the other 2 have had no problem so far. I wear them on weekends only.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the thread where I can get some information on brands that sell high quality blank polo shirts? Something a bit softer than Lacoste but not as soft as a True Religion polo.

My favorite polos are by Sunspel. I also have quite a few Lacoste polos, which I've found to be satisfactorily durable.

Before the line was discontinued, I was a fan of Ralph Lauren Rugby polos. Does anyone know if any of the other Ralph Lauren lines produce a polo in a similar cut/fit?

Vastrm sells logo-less polos (http://www.styleforum.net/t/323503/vastrm-fashion-official-affiliate-thread). Because of the customization you have an option of the fabric, which can help you make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Plus you can customize the entire shirt.

Thanks, I have spoken to jtang108 about the shirts and to be honest, to start, I want to sell my shirts (I have a brand I am starting) at a moderate price since they will be part of a collection (there will be custom pieces sold at a higher price) and if I buy a full run at your listed price, I may not be able to do so, either that or I'd have to take a substantial loss.

I really appreciate the help but as of right now, I am small time and shopping around.

The point of durability is good one.

I bought a few Country Road Polos (Australian Retailer) a while ago just to wear around the house and tooling around with cars etc.

All of them have significant fading and structural issues.

Not bad for $50AUD each, yet you would expect(Hope ;)) they would have lasted more than just a couple months.
