I've always wanted to just chill on legs and have an awesome taper. But I just like doing legs a d lower back too much. Right now my chest is 40" arms are 14.75" and waist is 31". Best shape I've been it but would be cool if my waist was like 29 and everything else stayed the same lol.

IT's just too much fun to add weight to the bar. I like the 29" waist idea.... hoping I can make that my limit going forward as well.

This is my problem. Too much fun putting weight in the bar. Fun getting to that point where people stop to watch your sets. I need to go on a long slow cut but I'm 20 lbs over my previous squat PR and still going strong on LP. And my bench and press are almost not poverty anymore.

Don't want to buy all new clothes, though. Already have to take all my suit pants to get let out next week.

I'm thinking about starting to eat at maintenance or slightly above and then dropping calories every week.

For a middle aged guy like me watching how much I lift is important. Really need to listen to what my body is telling me on any given day, be ready to pull some weight off if need be, and also need to not let a good day make me crazy and do something like toss an extra 20 or 30# on the bench because I'm feeling really good. To avoid injury it's all about restraint and slow, slow additions to weight. Warming up is also super important.

I think it's actually time to go on a cut. My weight just shot up again.

Favorite cutting routines? Hate to lose all my gains.

For me a cut is mainly successful if I can still push myself in the gym. I've gone from 209ish to 155lbs, it's really simple. I just put my information in MyFitnessPal, put weight goal and eat to their caloric recommendation. To keep the energy up for the gym on workout days I'll eat very lean meals high carbs only around workout, eat grapes during workout for energy. Off days are 0 carb high fat, eating lots of bacon and ***** meats.

I should have gotten knee sleeves 30 lbs. ago. Pulled the trigger on some knockoff Rehbands for $10 on Amazon. Quality is surprisingly good. We'll see how long they last.

It's ridiculous that a pair of Rehbands costs $80. That's more than a shorty wetsuit.

My Rehbands got stolen and I haven't replaced them since. Only squatting mid 300s, so doesn't feel like I NEED them. But must admit it took me a awhile to squat as confident without them.
