Don't Fifth Ave Shoe Repair and CDG overlap quite a bit aesthetically?

I'm referring to their mutual love for black tailored clothing and carrot-shaped pants

They do, but I have a weird variety of pieces... stuff from the Homme Punk collection, the Plus Evergreen studs collection, etc. I just can't get comfortable with the sizing, which fit me better when I was ten pounds heavier than I am now (currently 5'4" and 158, still got more to lose). I think I can keep some of it and just thin out the ranks (see my sale thread for the start of it), but I just look at my closet and think that looks great, but not on me. I can keep going and pick up more CdG stuff, especially pants, but I'm picking at the outer edges right now. Frankly, I'm just too poor.

(And yeah, the only way to pull of CdG is to not bother thinking about pulling it off. Dammit, hendrix)

More mind-blowing fiber facts: mohair comes from the angora goat, but angora comes from rabbits.

Norwegian Split Toe shoes can be made with a normal welted construction, Goiserer construction, or Norwegian construction. Norwegian construction being a seperate thing from the style of the shoe. "reverse welted" construction describes goiserer and bentivegna construction methods, but "split reverse" construction is simply normal welted construction with a split welt. Norwegese construction may or may not be the same construction method as Norwegian construction, depending on the maker's definition.

(nor)"Weejun" penny loafers are made with moccasin construction.

I can't remember who, but many years ago, someone on the MC side of the board had a Norwegian made by a Norwegian with Norwegian construction.
