i didn't get his comment at all. all my clothes are from reputable fashion brands (maybe minus tornado mart), not dirt cheap stuff, well made, and look "fashiony" enough to me. it's like i posted an aa/apc/clarks fit. weird.

I don't think you get it. "Clothes" become "Fashion" when they say something meaningful about ourselves or the world. To do this they must be moody, drapey, and deconstructed. This is a big deal and very serious. Your biggest mistake was wearing a funky tee shirt. That kind of clothing is frivolous and unworthy of anyone's time. Next time, try a tee shirt by "Rick Owens". They come in meaningful colors like "Dark Shadow" and "Dust."
