Sorry if I was unclear, I wholly agree with you on this.

I think I'm mostly reacting to BlakeRVA's comment, because I feel like "wear what you like", "it's all psychological", "fashion is subjective", "if you don't feel confident in it you won't look good" are all "positive" and partially true arguments that sound good, but are often used to shut down any constructive discourse on body shape.

I do understand it comes from a good place. But not everyone will look their best in a raglan sleeve or oversized clothing and it's okay.

I put this in CM, but honestly, the event is more like a SWD thing, if you want to check it out and have a drink on us. I unfortunately have to stay here to look after my kids. But do take and post a photo in this thread if you do go:
