So, like I get it, people change as they get older and stores change as the evolve and respond to customer demand. At the same time, it sucks that I'll probably never spend another dime at the two stores where I've spent the most money over the last ten years.

would anyone know if the Ebbets Field baseball caps in wool are warm/too warm for summer wear? I have one in cotton thats fine, but cant find a plain black one (in europe), while wool is available.

I have a couple wool or cords caps (various brands) and def not comfortable for summer.

BTW I carry a really small pocket knife as a keychain and it is quite useful. Def not the EDC type so just sayin'.

Late to the JMM talk but I’ve found almost all the models I’ve tried to be easy to wear. There’s only two I couldn’t make work for me and one was the Enzo. The Molino and Dealan and probably now the Fellini could work on anyone most likely, you just have to get used to heavier frames on your face. It took me a bit since I switched over from ultra light Mykita

What was it about the Enzo that didn’t work for you?

Usually I can pull off wide frames no problem but I don’t know what it was about these that didn’t sit well on my face. Talking to the guy who sells me JMM he says it’s one of the hardest frames to pull off. I also think that when my lady looked at me and said “huh I knew a friend of my grandmas who had those exact frames” kind of killed the hype for me hahaha

Haha! Oh boy. Reason I ask is I have those on preorder in Havana 4, my first pair of JMM, and I intend to put optical lenses in them (thinking tinted for ultimate sleaze)

Wide shades are a must for me, my current day to day frames are these Tom Fords and I generally get compliments on them. Hope the JMM work out.
