do these fit TTS?
Ann D sneakers run tts, or, for a more concrete comparison, I wear the same size (US sizing) in Nike AF1s and Ann D sneakers, a size 11 and 44, respectively.

The tight suit pants thing has been around for years and it seems to be heavily pushed on Instagram "mens fashion" by influencers. It looks terrible but I'm not sure it's going anywhere. Luckily it seems to stay in the teens and 20 year old sphere.
I like the tight suit pants trend. It gives me something to snicker at when I’m out. I hope it stays around…it’s almost always accompanied by the insanely short suit jacket 👍

In all seriousness though, it isn’t good for menswear since those pants can’t be comfortable and only contribute to the belief that classic menswear is uncomfortable to wear.

Ahhh... But you are forgetting that the type of brands making these outfits also use stretch in their suiting.

A heinous trend indeed, and, as you said, usually combined with ridiculously short jackets. Hopefully it will come soon to an end.
Nevertheless, a gentleman will never pursue a mode, but develop and state his own style.

Style as expression not a means to an end.

O and Dorian, we forget to mention the third component to the short jacket and tight pants(leggings) nexus. The low rise!

I know this topic has been brought up countless times and beat to death. So, I digress.

It's a weird situation because I feel like the older generation that young suit guys look currently look up to all dress to appeal to their audience and do media appearances in skinny royal navy suits with dress sneakers.

I’m watching football right now and most of the commentators are in fact wearing VERY tight suits and white trainers.

You bring up a good point. For guys in my generation and younger than me there are few viable good examples of what we here consider “well dressed”. Both of my grandfathers were well dressed. I was fortunate to know both of them into my teenage years and I have vivid memories of them and remember how they dressed. I also grew up in the church and have clear memories of how the older guys dressed. In hindsight, some of them dressed very well and others not so well.

But as you pointed out, no one really dresses “that” way anymore. Even people in the age range that we would assume dressed that way don’t anymore.

Very post post modern.
