I’m a sucker for natty CXL.
That was always my assumption.I recently came across a pair of Sperry Gold Cup "Handcrafted in Maine" boat shoes...
Could these have been made for Sperry by Rancourt?

It is the case. I was in the Sperry store in Freeport today and tried on a made in Maine pair. I asked the SA who made the shoes for them and he responded "Rancourt".That was always my assumption.
Most likely Rancourt, who else could have made them in Maine, Quoddy?I recently came across a pair of Sperry Gold Cup "Handcrafted in Maine" boat shoes...

Nice. I did the same thing everyone does when they see my loafers and think they were black! I see the hints of green though.Debut today of new (to me) Rancourt Sanford PTB in dark green shell cordovan.
