Has anyone come across a kudu-leather boatshoe from Rancourt? I am asking without knowing the practicality of being able to use such leather to do that.
Or if there's anything similar to that quality of leather and could go unlined?

I recently came across a pair of Sperry Gold Cup "Handcrafted in Maine" boat shoes...

Could these have been made for Sperry by Rancourt?

That was always my assumption.
It is the case. I was in the Sperry store in Freeport today and tried on a made in Maine pair. I asked the SA who made the shoes for them and he responded "Rancourt".

I was also wearing a pair of Ranger Mocs as this happened.

Thanks so much for the information! These strike me as being better than the average "Made in Maine" shoes. Being a big Rancourt fan, I figured they might be the ones to blame here. :)

Sizing question.

Looking at getting a pre order on the chukkas. I have a pair of camp mocs and ranger mocs. My pinky toe sticks out on them. I've had both pairs for over 2 years each. On the kudu suede, I don't really feel it (prob cause it's a softer material). On the ranger mocs, it's starting to annoy my toes to the point where I don't want to wear em.

Thinking I might go from a 6E to a 6EE... Or maybe a 6.5D or E? Thoughts? Pics for reference, shows the pinky just and where my toe hits. Sorry for crappy lighting.

Nice. I did the same thing everyone does when they see my loafers and think they were black! I see the hints of green though.
They’re gorgeous and much more clearly green in person as I’m sure yours are. 115 last which I understand to be close or identical to the AE 511, so fit is not perfect, but I’ll make it work because shell.
