Here's where I'm at for my loafer:

Beefroll Loafer
No Box Stitch (see @KPDarb - let me know if there is a better way to spec that)
Side Pinking (no tongue pinking)
Shell Cordovan - Color #8
Brown Midsole
Wheeled Welt
Vibram #232 - Black

Any thoughts on other customization points? Does Rancourt use a heel pad or full length insole pad?

They definitely use Insoles. You can technically request a darker color or something similar to Leffot’s old custom ones from a while back. You can see where they end on this one.

Are you going Unlined? What color hand stitching thread? Are you going tonal thread for the rest of the loafer?

As far as I know they offer half length (standard in Mocs/loafers), full length, and full length padded. I have the full length non padded in my color 8 for two reasons: to make the fit a bit more snug and to prevent my feet from sitting directly on the shell. I had full length padded in my natural cxl beefroll because they stretched a ton but I’m not a fan.

In observance of St. Patrick's day this week (March 17), I will strive to wear green shoes each day thru Friday.

Bass x Rancourt Loden CXL penny loafers on leather soles with medium brown welt & edging.

First time wearing these to work w/ socks & pants. Usually worn with shorts & sockless. These do not get enough attention from me - they're really cool shoes.
