So they start at €1000, if I did the right conversions. I am not an expert on Caruso prices, but I know they have an 'option package' of €250. That could explain the difference with the price I mentioned.

PG,

That is an absolutely wonderful suit - is it one of your older ones that you've held on to, or is it a recent acquisition? If it is a recent acquisition, would you mind letting me know where you got it?

I have a lovely, navy chalkstripe flannel DB by Caruso for Adriano & Sons and it is one of my favourite suits. I'd be very happy if I could find more but living in Brisbane, choices are limited!

I believe there are two Caruso models that Sid has carried...

Up until a few months ago, all the Caruso they sold was the Milano, which has more structured shoulders. In fact, that was the most structured piece they sold.

More recently, they switched to the Caruso Meric (sp?) because they stopped selling Boglioli. The Meric has softer shoulders (comparable to the Boglioli or even the Sartorio stuff they sell, which is fantastic).

I recently purchased a Caruso Meric blazer in a herringbone that is outstanding. In fact, it fits so well off the rack that I have been considering picking up some suits in the same model but I haven't inquired into the cost yet. The blazer cost me about $1500 though so I would assume that a suit would be north of that. If people are interested, I can let you know when I find out definitively.

Cheers,
Alex

Is this jacket longer than your usual Chan piece or it's just an illusion due to the button placement?
