Their shoes have been made by Trickers and Sanders over time. These look like a Tricker's to me.Is that a fact or is this another possibility?
Thank you. These are Samurai Ai-Plus 18 oz in the 511 cut.Nice slub on those jeans! What are they?
Is there a top down view? Maybe TSG version of the Brecon on 341?Anyone know anything about these boots (Crockett and Jones for Purdey). If you can still get them, what last are they on etc. View attachment 2292285
I said before I wouldn’t like any more tan scotch grain posts but I’m making an exception for this. These TSG almost Islays are greatMy latest find after an unusually long dry spell since I've been out of the game: A Crockett & Jones "Harry" which is an Islay built on the 228 last rather than the 365 and also in an F width rather than an E. I've found that I can't fit into the standard Coniston and Islays like I used to because my foot has gotten wider over the last decade. These are made with tan scotch grain leather rather than the typical dark brown. I'm sure some of you are already familiar with it but for those who aren't, they're a special make up for Rogerson's in the UK and a good deal too. I got mine shipped for around US$530. The fit is definitely more generous across the forefoot (good for me) but also overall, which is less than ideal but still acceptable. I've had these on my mind since 2020 but Rogerson's wasn't shipping overseas during the pandemic...
