What do you think about wearing boots with wing tips with winter jackets / parkas? I personally don't like plain toes on boots because it looks boring, but I very like wing tips. Unfortunately I am not sure if wing tip boots are suitable for my outfits, which is 50% black winter parka / 50% grey wool coat.

What do you think? Should I took plain, or cap toe over wing tip so I don't look silly?

They look very similar to conistons- what’s the difference?
Pretty significant difference. On the 325 last which is common, plus the cap toe and that’s about where it ends.

The Moray was a Division Road make up. I lusted after importing a pair back to the UK. They are all eyelets, tall shaft, rear quarter panels and on a Commando sole unit. The leather is the hurricane hide.

Fabulous boot, I’m so glad C&J sold off this stock via the stores.

I couldnt have explained it better @Marmite89 . The rear quarter panels make it distinct from the Coniston. And then there's the exposed eyelets which are spaced out more as compared to eyelets on the coniston. Sturdy boot, thick leather. However, i dont find it as comfortable when worn for long periods. But that could be due to 325 which isnt the most comfortable last for my foot shape (owed to lack of width)

If you’re going calf suede in dark brown instead of the repello, I may be on board for a group. Thanks.
Interesting. I would definitely consider that. There are probably some pros and cons of calf suede, pricing aside, so that would need to be weighed. Any insight or experience?

This is probably a next summer purchase for me. I would consider opening a GMTO for a month or so in case it fills up, but I would not wait indefinitely.

Islay
Dark Brown Suede (Calf or Repello?)
Dark color stitching (not contrast stitching)
365 last
Londra Sole if available, or Ridgeway as a backup
Speed hooks, same as typical Islay
