I find the Brecon to be roomier than the Coniston. The sole is definately wider.
Also, just to be picky, the Brecon is on a "country grain" and not "scotch grain" but it's close enough to be included with the DBSGs.

For my feet, last 341 is significantly narrower in the toe box than 325.

the brecon wears wider than the coniston.
two pairs of eylets / eight pairs of eylets.

in toe area I feel no difference. brecon is bit pointier but that is balanced by some mm aditional lenght.

For reference, the 379 last is too narrow for me.

379 and 236 are very similar in my experience. 379 is a little narrower at the heel. I would guess that 236 does not fit you if 379 doesn't. But who knows.

I like both scotch grain hues very much. DBSG is perfekt to navy chinos and raw denim.

Haha, no bad vibes I think the brown look great. It’s an ongoing joke from earlier because I was wishing I’d bought some Pembroke in brown.

Speaking about sickness and Scotch Grain-shots, have people thought about joining a GMTO for a green pair of Pembroke's? As part of my personal development I need to set new goals in life, and this would be one of them.
