Last 373 does not fit me very well, unfortunately. But it is not hard to imagine the superb quality.Indeed.
hand grade, amazing leather.
I never saw them for sale in this color? Burgundy?Thank you, Gentlemen, for all the "likes" received for my first post #20546. With this post my colour preferences may become clearer and I hope you can enjoy the more or less sublime beauty of these Cliffords, after frequent wear over the past two years…. Yes, that's Burgundy. I am the victim of the cursed blessing that my local store carrying C&J is about 400 yards from my office and I guess about 40% of the C&J stock he carries is made at his special request. He frequently orders Lonsdales in Cordovan, for instance.I never saw them for sale in this color? Burgundy?
Wonderful. My favorite C&J color is Chestnut Antique from the Handgrade line. I had Pembroke made in that color, it was single MTO, expensiveYes, that's Burgundy. Only yesterday I saw the plain Wholecut (not sure whether the model is called "Scarsdale No.x" or so) on last 367 in Chestnut Antique stocked. Amazing burnishing...Wonderful. Which marlow? Tassel, shortwing, full strap... I have the full strap and to me, they are noticeably more snug than my 325 lasted pairs. I've also lost track of what the consensus equivalent in sizes between C&J standard sizing and those made for PRL. I wear 8UKE for the 325 and have a 9D fullstrap for PRL. I believe the understanding was that they are made in an 8UK D = 9D US for PRL. Might be wrong, someone please correct me if I am so I can edit my post. Can anyone who owns the Shell Marlows for Ralph Lauren confirm if they are narrower than standard 325 last?
I think I heard this somewhere and it would rule them out for me.
