I stumbled across the BB shell cordovan cap toe boot (burgundy) at the BB on 20th and Broadway last night (few blocks south of the Flatiron building). It is 50% off, $498. They have 9D and 10D in stock. Was tempted but the fit wasn't great for me. Labeled Peal & Co, but pretty sure they are C&J. They do have some shop wear on them. 9D is on double leather and the 10D is on dainite.

Thanks for the tip. What size do you usually wear in other shoes?

Anyone have any advice on last comparison between that of Islay and Chiltern? Sorry,
don't have last numbers. After failed factory repair attempts of my Ryder, I have returned them and am looking for a quality C&J replacement. For reference, I had to size down from a UK11 in my Church's Ryder to a UK10 in my Islay. Many thanks for advice.

I visited the C&J factory shop this morning for the first time as I was in Northampton and found which I thing for me is a perfect pair of brogues, I just love the texture of the Roughout suede and luckily also on my favourite sole!

Thank you, it is the Bangor on the last 365, I could not believe my luck when I saw it on with the ridgeway sole which is my favourite, the shoes look much better in the real then in the picture!

I did not need another brogue but just could not resist these!

Have had to swap shoes my C&J are currently unwearable.

This is the impression of the pad on my foot it's basically making my feet ache a lot.
