I have a feeling you may have half a size too small.

I used to get those before I started using the insoles (basically to fill the volume of the shoes I was buying 1/2 size smaller but that resulted in narrower forepart because my feet was not where it was designed to be).

You may have got away with suede because it is so soft and also stretchy.

It's just one boot, the left (the other photo was done with a mirror, so it seems like the right boot too) and you can see some actual machining in the area - looks like sanding. My toes don't rub there at all, and I've probably only logged about 10 hours in these.

For those interested in Winter Sale - got an autoresponse form Mail Order. This is the list available to Mail Order (so includes VAT in posted prices - meaning US customers will pay 16.67% less).

Not sure if everything available in every size. I would be surprised if they all were.

Good number of discontinued styles - my guess is clearing them out and probably have limited sizes in these especially.

So what's the deal with going directly through C&J Mail Order for this sale and has it already started? The Coniston and Islay I've had previously, I've purchased through stockists. Do you just contact Mail Order, tell them what you are looking for, and they tell you if they have stock remaining? Thanks in advance.

These have started to lighten up a little, obviously, it is more pronounced under direct sunlight.

Pretty much that. Make sure you contact the UK one though. [email protected]

Interesting, so I attached their order form to an email and sent it to [email protected] and I keep getting autoresponses back. Is that normal?
Also Zippyh + others, re: 335 last (Skye) vs 364 last (Islay), if I find that an 8.5UK in the 365 is a bit snug on my little toe (not unwearable but not ideal), is this likely to be even more problematic in a 335? Also, if a 9UK in the 365 has a bit too much volume, would a 9UK in 335 have less volume? Thanks in advance. Trying to find a way to make a Skye 3 work for me...

I think there is an autoresponse set up currently because of high Winter Sale traffic.

Someone should hopefully get back to you Monday or Tuesday id imagine. I usually get quick responses, but they likely aren't working over weekend.

If you contact mail order for current range non sale they will have it, sale items may be size restricted.

Also can check the prices with them (or I can attach image of their current pricelist) - as the prices displayed online from a US IP are likely higher than you will actually pay.

Thanks. That makes sense. I'd like to see if they still have a chestnut Skye 3 on sale in stock. I've always wanted one, as it's a stunning boot...

Inspired by oskrusa to share one of my favorites:
Harlech, in Whisky Shell Cordovan! This pair is my go-to on a nice sunny day. After roughly 50 wears, still looking as sharp as when I got it a year ago at Jermyn Street.

These are supposed to be identical spec.

Hello

I would appreciate some sizing advice with regards to the 367 last.

I take a size 8 UK with in Loake's Capital F fitting last for a snug fit. Should I take the same size or size up to 8.5 UK

Thanks
