Another brand that has not been mentioned is Pal Zileri. I have several PZ ties, all 3" wide and all of superlative quality. In particular, their Sartoriale ties are fantastic. I cannot recommend this brand enough!

Just came today, beautiful looking tie, thank you.

A burgundy grenadine, I'd highly recommend it.

Apropos, Sawadee khap, (a polite greeting in Thai) Thailand is known as the land of smiles it is a truely wonderful place. Although the food can be very spicy at times! I will be very happy to send you some grenadine swatches and look forward to hearing from you. Our grenadine silk is woven by Fermo Fossati in the north of Italy and my wife Noina makes the ties herself here in Bangkok, very slowly, completely by hand.

Excellent, I never knew there would be so many choices. I'll be trying all the suggestions out in the near future. Thank you all!

Is anyone selling David Chu any more? I liked those ties.

Sam Hober is amazing. He could have his ties made by indentured rabbits in Timbuktu and I'd still recommend him.

Had, but that space has been taken over by someone else. I just googled and saw that he's running Tumi now, so I wonder if the clothing line is even a going concern any more.
