Does anyone know the color of these Garrans? Is it Cigar? Brown?
I consider it to be brown. Cigar is darker and seems to have a hint of green, IMO.
Giffords arrived today.... 11D too small for me. if there's anyone with a 11.5D and needs to size down.. let me know and we can swap.
While's it too bad you didn't get shoes that fit you, I'm heartened to hear another person who thinks these shoes fit TTS. I keep reading that they run 1/2 size big. Not in my experience.
Nick Horween told me that the color is called Dark Cognac at the factory and then C&J does some of their own finishing.
Dark Cognac...
I have personally owned/sold Darlton wingtips, penny loafers, Garrans and Giffords.

This is good to know. Interestingly, I bought a pair of Alden longwing shells that are about the same color as RL Darltons. The SA at the SF Alden shop referred to them as Cigar, but when I returned home I noticed that they are more similar to my RL shells than my Cigar shells. I like them a lot, especially since they are not the same color as another pair of Cigar Alden longwings that I have.
I'd love to see a shot of your shell collection, must be very impressive. I just started buying shell so I only have 4-5 pairs but I expect it to reach at least 10-15 as I like the leather a lot.
