I dropped in on the Orlebar Brown sample sale at lunch time today, picked up a pair of Bulldog trunks for £45 (down from £129).
There seemed to be plenty of stock in all sizes, though mostly in slightly garish colours and the better ones were selling fast - I got the last sensibly-coloured pair in my size (sort of slate grey), though there were plenty in sky blue that I was tempted by, and even a very pale pink that I think would have been passable in the sunshine. There were some nice looking ones in khaki in larger sizes (38" +). They came up large on me and I had to size down one (there is a disturbingly communal changing room arrangement at the back).
It's on till Sunday on Hanbury St, between Spitalfields and Brick Lane.
p.s. there was a Rapha sample sale on round the corner, big queue to get in - didn't bother.
