I do dips on ours too! That's more related to not having a dip station though...man bar dips are sure different than what I'm used to.

Why not just use dumbells? I suppose there's some advantage to putting a bar on your back while jumping, but I doubt anybody on this board is advanced enough to benefit from it. Dumbell jump squats, though, are tried and true and relatively safe.

Bands are another alternative, but you won't get the same resistance throughout the entire range of motion.
