Pretty much a bog standard leather strap, as far as I can tell. Did you check out Cousins UK? Or, there are some custom strapmakers on WUS in that price range.

I have four JR's, all bought new for under 1K. Ashford has a few currently just under 1K, keep a lookout for "flash sales" usually around the holidays. eBay has several also
