Did you guys have any warranty issues? I read all these grey market sites don't provide the standard manufacturer's warranty.

None of the watches I've purchased from these dealers has required any warranty work. I think in the tier I've purchased the factory warranty is usually only two or three years at best anyway.

For the short work week in the office, I wore a more casual Orient Solar Quartz Neo-70s Chrono on a Horween calfskin racing strap I bought from Long Island Watch.

At home, I wore a Seiko 5 #SNKL23J1 (also bought from LI Watch) on the original band.

Strangely attracted by pink watches lately, and I don't mean the classic salmon ones, which I also like, but those in a pure, cold pink shade like this Bremont Terra Nova 38. Previously I presented one from Fears.

Sorry for that. I do realize that nearly 3k are not peanuts, but I also think that with some savings it's still a price the most will be able to afford. Granted, I wouldn't post here a 10k watch, but I prefer to present such middle class models in this thread rather in the other one, where the focus is on the usual brands and the "real" watch fans are keen on all those useless complications.
I somehow associate a "poor man"'s watch with something simple and practical, so all the watches I post here have this clear aesthetic language.

No apologies necessary, and its no big deal. Most of the watches posted on this thread are under $1000 and more often under $500 of which I have many. Lol. You certainly have an envious watch collection sir. Cheers

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
