Ahh, that may be why the photo popped for me. Tonneau shape is way underrated IMO.This is from a few years back. Enamel face.

Bought this beauty from someone that didn’t wear it anymore for a ridiculously low price, hence the picture in this thread. For those wondering, yes it is a quartz model, 37mm in dimater and super practical.
I have owned quite a lot of high-end Swiss Made watches in the past (Rolex, Patek, Vacheron to name a few brands) and it always amazes me what Seiko has to offer in terms of finishing and craftsmanship compared to other big players in the watch game that charge waaay more for their products.
Grand Seiko are too good for Poor Mans Watch Thread IMHO!!!View attachment 2112193

Absolutely love that. I'd be perfectly happy with it being quartz, even though I like automatics/manuals I think it's nice to have a dependable quartz and Grand Seiko quartz movements are more special than an average quartz movement.View attachment 2112193

I’ve been giving the 41mm black bay serious thought. But that’s a pretty big commitment for me right now.Today is the first day in a very long time that I haven't gone with my Tudor GMT.
