Not all vendors are fine with already showing their next AW collection to the general public. Most photographers will therefore focus on what they can capture outside or at the various runway shows.
ime, most are. it's free marketing, and it's not as though representatives of fast fashion brands can't take pictures surreptitiously anyway.

The professional photographers at Pitti are trying to sell their pictures (or are already hired by media to cover Pitti for them), so probably the media in general are not really interested in/paying for pictures of next season’s collections, otherwise a lot more photographers would be inside taking collection shots I can imagine.

Some of these pictures as well as some videos I've seen on YouTube have a lot of men with hand and face/head tattoos and piercings. They are great examples of why one should not get tattoos that cannot be easily covered. It's like they don't fit the elegance their clothing is supposed to portray at all. It's just... weird looking.

Back in my day the only people with head/face tattoos were gang members and former convicts.

The thing is, I wouldn't want to stand out in the first place. I used to work for a shop that sent a buyer to Pitti twice a year, and he basically always wore the same thing when he went: a midnight blue suit, a white shirt, a midnight blue tie, and (depending on the weather) a midnight blue cashmere coat, all very simple but of excellent quality. It's a trade show, he went there for business, and he looked the part. So if I had to go, that's what I'd wear. And if I had to wear something more of-the-times (and closer to what I wear in my daily life), I'd avoid suits, sport coats and dress shirts entirely and go for some interesting piece of knitwear and a pair of roomy, cropped trousers with a big overcoat on top, done.

I disagree, it's trade but also a fashion show where new trends are showed and celebrated: more than reasonable, that one would like to stand out, be it in a good or bad way.

Secondly, I'm not a suit guy, I don't see why a suit should be better than a sport coat with odd trousers.
