Planning a trip to Paris in late January. I'm looking for quality specialty menswear and lifestyle shops. I will stop at Heschung and J.W. Weston but also looking for smart casual apparel, classic country clothing, contemporary home and lifestyle style accessories.

Here are a few specialty shops in Paris that I plan to visit which seem to have an authentic French vibe.(I found these on Instagram) If any of you have visited Berteil or Mettez I'd appreciate hearing about them.

Berteil - Tweeds and corduroy tailored styles with a French color palette.

Mettez Paris - since 1847, appears to be tweeds and corduroy tailored outdoor and country apparel. Also with a wonderful mix of French colors.

I will also visit Heschung and JM Weston for shoes.

If you have any other suggestions for Paris RTW retailers with smart casual style let me know. I'm looking for things beyond what I typically find in US and Italian retailers.

Sure. There's some shops in the guide at the back of my book, in particular Artumes & Co which is all about luxury country clothing and employs the former Arnys designer for scarves and accessories. Chato Lufsen is the best collection of vintage Arnys as well as made to order country-style jackets. Also try Anatomica. Mettez is big into the Tyrolean look, FYI. Berteil is trying harder to be relevant now but used to be pretty staid, YMMV.

French curated casual with various accessories is well done at Beige Habilleur.

Artumes & Co : We went there (using the address on Google) and it wasn't there. Did buy one of their colorful scarves online. Check out their website.

French curated casual with various accessories is well done at Beige Habilleur. : This is a wonderful menswear shop. Well done, simple elegant displays, quality brands. I highly recommend it.
