Certainly it is better made and more carefully finished than Isaia stuff. Hand stitchings are done very clean fashion like ones you see in Brioni suits (IMHO Kiton suits have some clumsy hand work). The coat is really light as well.

A picture perhaps?

Let's see a picture of the full monty--no, not connemara style. I mean the st. a jacket, the FC shirt, polka dot tie and Santonis.

+1.

As an odd jacket, I don't like it. As a suit, I think it would be great. I bet the windowpane overlay is less bright in person than in the photograph.

Had some time so I have taken pics of this coat. I think it fits pretty well, but back seam and sleeves need to be fixed. Other than that .. this coat is really SAFE!

Looks fabulous. The armholes seem unbelievably high on these scans

Same here... I do have a suit that is similar, but I don't wear it often

YMMV of course, but not to my taste and I really wanted to love it because it was in my size (and at outlet prices).

I own the pink windowpane suit and love it. The fabric feels like pure cashmere although it is 75% wool. The pattern is great but bold enough that I wear it selectively. The blue windowpane is also beautiful but I agree with the other posters it would be much better as a suit than a sportscoat.

It would be a great suit, but I think it's great as a sport coat too.

woah...that is sweet!. .when i first read the original post, i didnt think much of it, so i did not comment....

however, the photos look- ...dont take this the wrong way, but i mean this as a complement, looks sort of like a past generation, mafia style look. the snazzy styles you see in those old , fuzzy films where the bad guy driving up in a black beemer with his goons to attack bruce lee and the restaurant owner.

i really mean that in a complement . i , as well, am looking for a jacket or coat to give a mobster impression, not to say you are going for that look. but it really looks cool
but that suit especially with the contrasting buttons and the windowpane gives a real 'made' mobster look which is really sweet.

put on a nice pair of antiqued brown shoes and you 'll be set.

At least with that outfit, I think it verges on looking like part of a costume.
