Let's try this again, since you are asking color.

The pastel, blue-rose-grey quality of the Kiton pink fits your complexion perfectly. So does the tie. One can tell by the dorsum of your hands that you have pink-beige skin.

The dark jacket, white shirt, and dark shoes - less so.

So, the pink goes with you as a person; don't know about you as your style though.

Let's be clear here: the pants aren't the problem. It's everything else.

I love a pink pant but personally wouldn't have went with jeans. The windowpane coat is a bit over the top for jeans (pink or not), the tie is wrong for the desired look inclusive of shirt.

With those jeans, you need a [white] unstructured jacket, lighter shoes [or even skips (sneakers, boat shoes)], no tie but open collared shirt.

Bon voyage.

Agree 100% on the shoes being all wrong.

The color of the pants serves to emphasize their casual style which are out of place with the rest of the outfit, which, frankly, is a tad conservative. The pink pants don't so much provide a hint of clash -- which is desirable -- but a contradiction that would be akin to wearing gym sneakers with a tuxedo.

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
