I did not catch that. Mentioned your comment to the wife, who is much sharper than I, this morning and she says Joseph saw it and made chalk marks on both sides of the collar. Is your tailor going to tighten up your collar?
from the forward fitting picture it looks at least 4cm too large/wide.
Definitely not typical Solito shoulders. eg. So, if you want a Solito orHi everyone. I hope you don't mind me chiming in to ask your help evaluating the work of a tailor in Mexico City. He's quite young but has worked with reputable houses in Mexico.
I'm looking to commission my first bespoke project, and, if money were no object, I'd probably go to Antonio Solito, but this one seemed like a good, more affordable alternative.
Here are a few sources you may look at
- His instagram account.
- A video of a Mexican content creator talking about his work. (He made the trousers and cord jacket.)
- A few photos he shared with me
Texting with him, he sounded quite passionate and mentioned liking Italian style in general, but often needing to go in different directions because of client preferences.
Thanks you in advance.

Definitely not typical Solito shoulders. eg. So, if you want a Solito or
typical Neapolitan cut, you will bne going against his "house style".
Often a risky proposition.

Super curved breast pocket looks a bit gimmicky.Hi everyone. I hope you don't mind me chiming in to ask your help evaluating the work of a tailor in Mexico City. He's quite young but has worked with reputable houses in Mexico.

Did we look at the same Instagram page? I only looked briefly but I didn't see any machine made buttonholes, quite a few Milanese ones though.Yup, not talking about make, just about style alone I would not commission something from him.
Also most buttonholes I saw are not done by hand, for me a big no-no as I like handmade buttonholes.
