Are you up in MN?

I am a bit worried about going deeper with cold weather cloth for suits. I am working my way home on vacation - it was 75F in Seoul and Busan 2 weeks ago and hit 80 once or twice in Osaka last week.

This might explain why I have a Rangoon, Fox City and old Golden Fox in the works on the suit front.

Did you go flaps on the DB? There is something about that cloth that makes me think it is just casual enough to render jetted pockets nonviable
I have a three season wardrobe with the 656 occupying the shoulder season flannel role. My winter flannels are mostly in the 16-18 oz range (LL primarily).

I’ll have to double check but I’m pretty certain that I went with two patch pockets. I agree that there is a very casual element to the suiting.
