Finished, lighter cloth than I usually get at 9oz. Better pics coming later.

Dear @Amidé,

Your shetland SC is progressing nicely, if I may a suggestion, due to the width of the lapels (which I like), you may perhaps contemplate a slight enlargement of the height of the (face of the) breast pocket; IMO it would become more proportional vis-à-vis its adjacent lapel and thus, harmonious to the eye.

Best,

Dimitris

Thank you Dimitris, that is actually something I discussed already with my tailor! Good to see I’m not the only one who noticed.

You are welcome Amidé, no you are certainly not the only one!

Actually my own "latest period's" SCs have such nice lapels as yours, they are not substantially, still wider than my previous ones, so I initiated a discussion with my tailor on the subject so as to make all the appropriate adjustments; on 10cm lapels (measured the correct way!), we selected a breast pocket's height at 3cm sharp.

Best,

Dimitris

does it actually feel heavy? Even with soft tailoring construction? I have a sample and it feels amazing and very porous. Seems like it would make an excellent summer suit even at that weight. Better than the 4 ply and comparable to the 2 ply.
I wouldn't say CAID Ivy is soft tailoring construction. It's around 3-4lbs. Idk if I'd wear it in summer. Anything over 70 degrees, I'm in a short sleeve polo shirt.
