I have a few wholesalers i buy from that will have the occasional end lengths...and trawling eBay and etsy...alot of the more exotic blends pop up there more often than you think. But let me help you out there:

I just want a blue and white seersucker. Classic!

Are there pics to gratuitously steal from?
Lord has been kind enough to post the purple tragedy a few times.

HI there!

Did you end up getting a second suit from them? Also, did you request a wider lapel during your first appointment or is this width their current house style?
Hello! Sorry I am replying so late! I see you've started a commission, congrats!

I didn't end up getting a second suit from them. The lapel was wider at my request, although they did push it wider than I wanted.

Based on a few issues with my suit and the subsequent changes, I wouldn't be commissioning another suit from them, same goes for trousers as well. Basically, I don't think they did very well at all with the cutting and I am likely to take my business elsewhere for the next one. They tried hard enough to fix it and I appreciate that but the end result just doesn't cut it for me.

But please don't let my isolated experience discourage you, I know plenty of people in London who are very happy with their (repeated) W&S commissions that look great on them. I would also ask for discretion in not sharing what I said here with them, please.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm curious if you met at their shop in London or at traveling events? I wonder if that makes a difference in terms of communication.

I do. And it's fine, it does the job, and it looks good.

But every time I wear it I am reminded of how easily it moves away from my neck, the collar doesn't sit too well, how bloody low the armhole is, the short back balance, etc etc. I've got RTW jackets that fit me better and for me that says a lot.

I’d wear this once a week, not gonna lie.
It's a nice jacket for sure but I've slowed down since getting married. My wife is a homebody and doesn't like to get dressed up for outings. I find myself in leather jackets and converse these days but I will be wearing the jacket tomorrow evening for our DC styleforum meetup!
