so back on the subject of ecole, there's now a charge of $50 on my CC and on their site, it had a total with the credit applied when I made the order a few days ago but now total is without the credit. Looks like they changed it. It also says my order shipped but no tracking info and didn't get an email either

Lame.

I placed an order for the 5 year wash and asked about the credit, and they said it would not be applied. Can't say I'm too surprised, so oh well; but do think they could have handled it much better from a customer service perspective.

update on the ecole situation....

checked my cc statement just now

4/8/16: $100 charge
4/11/16: $150 charge
4/11/16: $100 refund

all in pending status so in total, its $150. guess they caught on today? guess the funs over
rule #1: never call

So is the ecole situation related to an item that didn't qualify for the credit? Want to pull the trigger on an item that allows me to use the credit but just want to confirm I'll be okay. Don't want to deal with any headaches

As indicated in an e-mail with Ecole, the $50 credit isn't supposed to apply towards promotional (sales) items. Also, the return policy is 28 days.
