does Odin typically not do a summer sale?

edit: I'm an idiot, there's no link on the main page but they do have a sale going on. Guess what I want just won't be on sale this year...

Through some miracle my unionmade order shipped. Can't wait to find out how off the measurements are.

My first union made order got cancelled due to processing problems... Took them over a week to let me know and they didn't tell me why.

Only good thing is that I reordered with more discount lol

I got UM to finally admit that some of their measurements might be off, took like 5 e-mail exchanges.

Well the pit to pit measurement of the jacket is 24" and the length is 23". You'd have to be a very husky 5th grader for that to fit.

I think we should all take a moment and be thankful for what happened here today. It is especially important to remember those less fortunate than us, the Canadians, whose credit cards did not allow them to partake in this special event.

Goodbye Barney's clearance sale of July 2014. You were over nearly as soon as you began. Your time with us was short, but we shall never forget what you did for us. I will think of you fondly every time I wear my new Zanone knitwear set to arrive between Monday and Wednesday of next week via free ground shipping. We will remember you when we see the twelve ties we bought, still hanging neatly in our closet because we never actually wear ties and just bought them because they were $12.50. Most importantly,we will all remember when no one asked about GATs or CPs for almost three full pages of the sales alert thread because they were too busy bragging about the bounty you had bestowed upon us all.

I believe James "Thrifty Jimmy" Stingus said it best: "The sale whose deals are twice as good... lasts only half as long."

YMMV

I caught the Barneys sale early. Spent too much, but it was worth it. Cashmere armani sweaters that retailed for $550 for $125, a gaggle of shirts for like 30 bucks each (mostly rag & bone), a $1000 theory peacoat for $108..$12.50 ties..and a whole bunch else. That was a legendary come up.

I had this problem with them two years ago. Only when I sent them photos of the garment with a measuring tape would they agree that their measurements were wrong. It then took a lot longer to get them to agree to accept the return, which they did so begrudgingly and without refunding shipping. I had less luck when the the pants I received last year contained in the pocket a BART ticket and a receipt from a burrito joint, which I took to suggest that the pants had been purchased, worn and returned. They suggested that they had been tried on in the store.

The real story here is Theory makes something that retails for $1000. What the ****?
